A meal service of the future



Today, some of the country’s most competent experts on meal services, seniors and catering centres were gathered to discuss and develop ideas for a meal service of the future. The workshop is a part of a comprehensive service design project that Hatch & Bloom has been assigned to develop by The Danish Enterprise and Construction Authority. The overall aim is to improve meal services for senior citizens by creating more freedom of choice. Through a thorough research process our design anthropologists have identified central user-needs and new ideas and insights have been developed in collaboration with experts and users on a string of workshops. Sounds complex? It is. Meal services are not only about cooking tasty food. It’s about linking empathy, care and an attentive meal service in order to innovate and create the world’s best meal service for senior citizens.
