Innovative talk at Danisco’s seminar ICE 2009


How is a microwave related to ice cream? According to Michael and our partner and neighbour, chef and food stylist, Mads Nybro, they are related in many ways. That was emphasised last week when Michael and Mads gave a talk on food and ice cream trends at Danisco’s Ice Cream for Experts seminar – ICE 2009. Top experts in ice cream science and technology and international ice cream manufacturers were gathered for a seminar about ice cream and ingredients. Mads and Michael underlined that ice cream is more than just ice cream by introducing Triple Chocolate. A novel ice cream concept that can be consumed as 1) a frozen dessert, 2) a mousse or 3) as a luscious cake after 30 seconds in a microwave. In the lovely sunny weather we’re having these days it’s no wonder that Triple Chocolate and the seminar were both huge successes.
