Things have been going full speed for Hatch & Bloom since we started some one and a half years ago. One of our most far-reaching projects "Glad for Mad/Det Gode Køkken" (Happy Foods/The Good Kitchen) for the Municipality of Holstebro has just received The Danish Design Prize 2008/2009.
The jury stated: "The Good Kitchen is an excellent example of the capacity of a user-driven service design to enhance a solution in this case for a municipality. In a project supported by the Danish Enterprise and Construction Authority, user needs and expectations were explored in a cross-functional approach actively involving the end-user.
No need to mention that we are immensely proud of the honor and that we look forward to hearing the elderly's response to the photo of the H.R.H. Crown Prince Frederik in The Good Kitchen's next newsletter.
On the photo from the left: Mayor of Holstebro Municipality Arne Lægård, daily leader of The Good Kitchen Anne Marie Nielsen, Innovation director of Hatch & Bloom Lotte Lyngsted Jepsen, Director of Ministry of Economic and Business Affairs Søren Tegen Pedersen, Managing director of Hatch & Bloom Michael Keissner, H.R.H. Crown Prince Frederik, and Managing director of Danish Design Center Christian Scherfig.
