Thank you, thank you, thank you!

It’s been five hectic and fantastic months. Now, a few days away from Christmas it’s time to look back. And what better way to do that than by organizing Christmas cards and presents for clients and business partners: Thank you to all of you who helped us turn our idea into a real company. Thank you, clients! You’re the reason why we get up in the morning (and sometimes why we stay up late). This is no Oscar speech - it's merely a sincere Thank you. So to all of you from all of us we wish you a merry, merry Christmas and a happy New Year. See you in '08!

The difference between art and design?

We’re helping artist Peter Skovgaard develop web and print communication materials. Obviously, we want to design something extraordinary and unique. At the same time, we want to design a framework which does not try to look like art itself. Here, Michael visits Peter in his studio. Notice the experienced, focused look of Michael. Wonder why? Well, he has an MA in Arts and History and had his own gallery company for years (before Hatch & Bloom stole all of his time).

Water pipe panic and workshop for Valtech

Early morning, December 7. A water pipe nearby collapses. No water in the building and lots of panic in our heads. What do we do? We have an all-day workshop with IT pioneer Valtech in three hours? 8:53, by divine interference, the water comes back on. We are ready to guide Valtech’s Engagement Managers through a program of insight into idea and concept development. What started out as a series of unfortunate mishaps turned out to be an inspiring day with a skilled, fun, energetic team of people. Amazing what can happen in just one day!
